GENERAL - PROPS
Our backdrop boards come in sizes 5ft, 5ft 6 and 6ft. Choosing size can be difficult, however we have put together some pictures and factors to consider.
Firstly, consider whether you would like the board to be the 'main' prop or an 'accessory' prop. If it is to be used on it's own or as the center piece to a larger display, then we would advise 5ft 6 or 6ft. If it is to be used to complement other props, then any size will work.

Secondly, consider your storage and transport space. In some cars, 6ft is just slightly too big, whereas 5ft 6 would fit perfectly. However in other cars, as long as you know how, they will fit perfectly. Click the links below to see pictures of a 6ft board in two different cars.
If you are worried about storage and transport space, you could choose for your prop to be folding. To find out more about folding props, please see the next question.
We would always recommend going for a full board over a folding board. We are very proud of our folding design, however no matter how good a design is, it is impossible to completely get rid of a line between two separate pieces of material.
You will find, in most cases, that a full board will fit in your car. See the previous question for pictures of a 6ft prop in 2 different cars.
If you do opt for a folding board, please be aware that our folding boards come in 2 pieces rather than actually folding. They slot together using a socket mechanism and the gap is then tightened by clips. Click the link below to see a picture of our folding board design.

Please be aware, there will always be a line visible.
Some props, such as rainbow boards do not have folding options. This is because there is not enough material to make this prop fold and look good at the same time. If you want a rainbow arch and are worried about size and space, opt for 5ft in this style.
Yes, in fact we love custom orders the best! If you have something you want making, please send it over via Instagram or email info@haydenspopandpropshop.com along with any pictures and measurements.
Most of our props are made our of 12mm MDF. This is absolutely no problem to pick up and carry. Please click the links below to see an example of someone carrying one of our boards.
Our ripple board however, is made out of 18mm. This is much heavier than the other styles, however it is still possible to carry.
It is important this is made from 18mm, as the ripple cuts 8mm into the material the full way across the board. If this was made out of 12mm this would only leave 4mm left of material, making the prop more delicate and susceptible to bending.
Please note, this does not apply to our half ripple. The half ripple board is still made out of 12mm.
Our 3D arches come into 3 pieces. The 3D arch fits in most cars, including an Audi A1 (new model).

We have a 21 working day lead time. This excludes weekends and bank holidays so it is essentially 28 days in total. Please bare in mind that this is a maximum, we usually fulfill orders sooner.
If you have an event booked or require your prop sooner, please let us know via Instagram or email info@haydenspopandpropshop.com as we are usually able to accommodate these requests.
CHECKOUT
Yes, you can pay for your props using KLARNA or PayPal credit. This will split your payment into 3.
As a VAT registered company, we have to charge VAT. This is a 20% charge that is added to your total at checkout.
Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided, however you will find that all wholesalers charge VAT.
In regards to props, we have reduced our prop prices slightly so that once VAT is added, we are within the same price range as other companies.

PROP SHIPPING
You can collect your props from our unit in Salford, Manchester. We will contact you when it is ready to collect, but please be aware our lead time still applies.
Again, if you need it sooner, please do contact us to request this and we are usually able to accommodate.
If you are based in Birmingham, you can also collect props from Greetings House. You will only be able to collect what is in stock.
We charge £50+ VAT for 1 prop and £75+ VAT for 2 or more props.
It is not cost effective for us to ship directly to the Republic of Ireland, however you can still purchase our props through Blush Wholesale based in Belfast. This will mean you do not have to pay customs and can even save yourself delivery costs and choose to collect.
No, unfortunately we don't ship balloons or props outside of the UK.
BALLOON SHIPPING
Yes, your balloon order will be available to collect the same day. You will receive an email as soon as it is ready and you will then need to let us know when you are planning to come.
Unfortunately, we are generally online only. However, we offer click and collect so that you can pop in and pick up your order from our unit in Salford, Manchester.
We do have the option for you to add on bits you may have forgotten in store when you are collecting, however as we are not open as a shop you'll need to contact us to let us know you are coming.
Our cut off for next day delivery is 11am. If you miss the cut off and it is urgent, please contact us.
We use Royal Mail next day delivery or DPD 1-2 day delivery. You will receive tracking updates once your order is shipped.

MDF is susceptible, like any wood, to bending if left in the wrong position. Please always store your boards flat on the floor, or as upright as you can. If you leave them leaning at an angle against a wall, you will start to notice a bend. If this has happened, please don't panic. Lean the board the opposite way or store it flat with a heavy object on it to reverse the bend.
